我輔導的一個面試學生和我說過這樣一件事，她面試的時候問的是：“說說你的家鄉。”當時就懵了，好在她的反應比較快，將考研時背過那些作文拿過來應付了一下，如我的家鄉很美麗、交通便利、工作方便、好掙錢、能和家人一起，沒有污染等。考研大作文的思路、題材和句子仍然是有效的。任他幾路來，我就一路去嘛!

　　當然一些藝術等專業的考生可能碰到以上的情況。理工科、法學、文學等專業就不一定了。一些問題需要有效準備，也許不會問到，但是也要有效準備，不要打無準備之仗。

　　怎么將專業術語整合在自我介紹中：

　　辦法3：不提理論，說自己的職責：The team had to work round the clock andchecked it up from time to time. In this way, the whole system wouldn’t crash.Other feedback mechanism includes術語(如一些常用的設備或者零部件名稱：如servers, data base as well as hard disc)

　　如果碰到不熟悉的怎么辦?

　　直接說“我不清楚”就可以了，別硬撐著：In this process, I’m in charge of themaintenance of servers. So my knowledge in 不熟悉的領域is limited. Sorry, it is difficult for meto say more. But I know that it is important, and it is my plan to keep trackof its latest trend. 1、口頭語：

1) My name is …:不妨說成：Myname is …. You can call me Alex, that’s my English name. Now let me introducemyself first(這不廢話嗎?可是如果演技好，您已經耗了十五秒了)

2) 我有點兒緊張：就是這么想的也不要這么說，可以說：Well, give me a second. Let me put it inthis way.

3) 我的專業是：My major is …用得太多了，換個I’m doing a degree in …

4) 我很幸運：我輔導學生的時候，不大愿意讓他們說I’m lucky，而希望他們說成：I’m glad to have a chance to work with manytalented classmates and noted professors here.

2、套話和“奇葩”:可以挑著說，但是要實事求是，死記硬背的后果是很幽默的

1) 俺當過班長：I worked as the class monitor and helpteachers handle with class affairs(不知道如果連續五個復試者都是班長，誰是排長?)

2) 俺是學生會：From 2005 to 2007, I was the president ofCampus Painting Association, in charge of compiling rules of the association.(全是，哪是誰?)

3) 俺積極參與了…：I’m also a participant of a wide range ofcampus activities.(您不是兼職班長嗎，怎么突然又成“跟班兒”了呢?)

4) 俺唱過紅歌：說這個只能說您經?？佳?，太不了解國內時事了… sing the revolutionary songs

5) 做過村官給村主任提過建議：這個嘛….，給縣委提建議還差不多，work as a village official, my job duty isto give professional advice to the village master(secretary in the CountyCommittee)

6) 我的*是全優：I got straight As. I study hard to keep anaverage GPA of 4.2 and a position within the top 3 percent of my class.(您不是全優嗎?怎么平均分又4.2啦?前后不一致啊，選一句吧!)

7) 在英語演講比賽中得過一等獎：I won the First Prize in the EnglishSpeaking Contest.(即使是二等獎，那您的語音也得過得去吧?)

8) 三好學生：three good student是“三個好學生”的意思(單復數還用錯了)、姑且用ThreeMerits Student撮合著吧，其實用Excellent student誰都聽得懂。

9) 俺考碩士是為了獲得理論知識、培養分析問題解決問題的能力、或者職業知識：I apply for the Master Degree in order toobtain theoretical knowledge, improve independent thinking and get professionalknowledge.(好像高考也可以這么說、本科也可以這么說、考博也可以這么說)

10) 俺要融入社會、得到機會、發展事業：I want to fit into society, obtainopportunities, and further my career.(真實的想法是：我想買車、買房、找美女成家，可是你又沒法這么說。)

11) 俺想在這個大學學習：*好別說I have a strong desire to study here，也別說Tostudy here is my dream, 怎么聽怎么想“求您收下我吧”，不如說成：The competitive environment here will giveme daily boost to the practical skills and professional knowledge.

12) 我比較喜歡：…is my favorite的效果不如…ismy preference.

　　面試其實就是展示自己的機會、多談些專業的感受、比說這些更有價值，偶爾說兩句還可以，全背就沒有什么意義了。
